Update on Alyson

On Friday we received some current information on Alyson. We found out that she is in foster care and it sounds like she is recovering perfectly from her heart surgery. Her surgery was on March 7th. The report says that she is now 21 pounds but it's still hard to say how accurate that might be. Here's some of what the update said:

she is an active and energetic child. She smiles constantly. She can stand holding on to something and can walk steps being led by hands. She often climbs on the sofa to play alone. She tries to walk upstairs. She is close to the foster mother. She points at something she wants with a hand and gurgles. She can say “baba, mama”. She feeds herself food. She holds the bottle. She turns eyes to something daily used when the foster mother says it. She shares her food with the foster mother. She likes to play games with other children. She likes to play outside. Sometimes she fights with other children for a toy. She shows curious at something fresh.
She sounds a little feisty :-) Our son Andrew has always been a calm easy going kid so we're due for a rambunctious one!
